Doing life together...
We want everyone who is a part of Elevation to be connected first to God then to each other from the yongest to the oldest. We believe that meaningful relationships are not only our first proirity, but really they are the only thing that matters. What life is truly all about is faith in God, love for our family and our friends. At Elevation we want to experience life together. Whether it's at a ball game, watching a movie together, hangin out having a meal, going on an elk hunt or maybe even running a triathalon together - we believe that loving God and loving each other means being part of each others lives in a real way. We've created various avenues for you to get connected with our community. And we're open for whatever new things God has for us as we continue to live life together.
We also believe in transparency and vulnerability. It's really pretty meaningless to just come to church in an atmosphere where you feel like you can't be yourself - the good and the bad. And if there is not an atmosphere of acceptance and vulnerability then people feel as if they need to appear like they have it all together and begin wearing the "church mask" that I'm sure you've all seen or done. At Elevation we are asking the Lord to help us create an atmosphere where no one has to wear that mask. Where you feel the acceptance and love of God and each other and can genuinely receive encouragement and ministry wherever you happen to be in your season of life. We are asking God to help us have freindships that matter - and that last the test of time. Isn't that what the body of Christ should really be about? After all we don't even need to try to appear sinless - we are already blamless in Christ.
